Samsung announced its foray into the smart watch market – the Galaxy Gear during the press conference. It’s a smart watch with a 1.63-inch display powered by an 800MHz CPU. It sports 4GB of internal memory and 512MB of RAM. It connects to Galaxy devices, contains smartphones and tablets, via Bluetooth. It uses the BLE standard to ensure that it doesn’t withdraw your smartphone’s battery.
Samsung says that the Galaxy Gear will be available worldwide on September 25th in a variety of colors. It won’t be making its way to the U.S
