Facebook has just announced the launch of hash tags where it has became a bigger public conversation. As marketers who have Twitter experience know, the hashtag can have pretty powerful ramifications for campaigns.
The best part about Facebook hashtags from a marketing perspective is that it takes something marketers are already using it, and magnifying it greatly by utilizing Facebook’s huge user base.
A Facebook spokesperson tells If you already in use of hash tags in an advertising campaign through other channels then you can amplify these campaigns by just including hash tags in face book. The hash tags use on other platforms and that are connected to facebook page will be automatically clickable and searchable on FB.
