How to display an RSS feed in WordPress?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication is a web feed format for publishing frequent updates of site content such as news, blog posts, etc.

In WordPress you can easily add RSS feeds to your website. To implement this, do the steps below:

  • Log in to your WordPress admin panel and go to Appearance -> Widgets
  • Add the RSS widget.

  • Once you add the widget to your sidebar, you’ll see that the widget settings look like this:
  • Enter the RSS feed URL here: You will need to get the RSS feed URL from the blog or web site you would like to display in the sidebar.
  • Click Done and then Save Changes to publish the RSS feed on your blog.
