Google Updates Interactive Places To iPad Search Results

Google has launched an update for iPad users that make the search places more “interactive”.  Mainly Google has added a new scrolling results bar that when clicked display expandable place card for whatever location you are interested in bar, shops, restaurants and more.

Google says:

“Starting today, English-speaking iPad users in the U.S. will see a new, interactive experience when they search for restaurants, bars or other local places on Google. In addition to the regular web results, a horizontal “carousel” of local results will appear at the top of the page.

The expandable “card” includes Zagat rating and more. It also features familiar map which can be expanded if needed.
