Google Launches AdSense Publisher Scorecard

Today Google announced the launch of a new benchmarking feature for AdSense called the Publisher Scorecard. In AdWords account this can be found in the Home tab. It will compared with other AdSense publishers and provide you with a summary of your content, ad settings and pages are performing,

It’s organized into different categories, such as revenue optimization and site health, with each category scored on a scale of one to five blue dots indicating your performance,” explains AdSense Product Manager Nick Radicevic in a post on Google’s Inside AdSense blog.

Here’s what the scorecard looks like:

Items that you should fix will be flagged by a red or yellow exclamation mark and once fixed, it help to increase your traffic. You can also be able to see your score updates.

It is an informational tool only to give you greater insights into the performance of your site.

This week is the ten-year anniversary of AdSense. According to Google last year alone, publishers earned $7 billion.
