Google confirmed the new Nexus 7. The features of new Nexus 7′s CUP is 1.8x faster than the previous model, and its GPU is 4x faster than the previous model. It sports a full 1080p HD display – the first of its kind on a 7-inch tablet. They were also quick to note that the new Nexus 7 now features stereo speakers and virtual surround sound. The new Nexus 7 is the first Android device to support the OpenGL ES standard.
