Easy Way To Communicate Across Languages In Gmail

On October 9, 2012 Google added more than 100 virtual keyboards IMEs and translation which combined called as input tools in their Gmail. If you want to send a mail to your friend in their language, it make more difficult to find the word, however you choose them, it is even difficult to finding the way to type them.

As per the Google “Try emailing family in Germany, chatting with friends in China or adding a Russian business partner’s name to your contacts and you may find yourself limited by the language of your keyboard.”

To solve this problem Google introduced input tools in Gmail. This tool gives a chance to type in the language and keyboard layout which preferred language. It will make easy to keep in touch with the co-workers, friends and family from any of computer. In this tool you can able to choose the multiple languages with one click.

If you want to enable this feature, you need select Enable Input Tool option under language (click on show all language option) in setting. Once you select the tool, you will see the input tool icon next to the setting button in your toolbar. Also you can able to turn on and turn off any input Tool from there.

With this new feature, Google supports typing in 75 languages, big change from five languages to 75 languages.  This is the big jump were initially supported Introduced Indic transliteration in Gmail 2009.

Now onwards language should not break the good conversation. Gmail’s users can make conversation in their languages across the world. If the users want to use Input Tools in other places use Chrome extension, the windows desktop client or the Android app.
