The Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg had announced that Facebook is on the way to launch new features like AD HOC Group chat. But these are already live for some people only, now it’s time to have all of them quickly.
Ad Hoc Group Chat
Perhaps, if you want to chat with multiple friends, then we have to create group with those friends. But now it’s easy to select multiple friends to chat at a time, without creating group. An “Add Friends to chat” drop down message will allow users to add more friends, while you chatting with one, there by friend being added to the conversation in the Facebook.
They can see message as chat once the added users are online. If they are in offline, then the group message will be in their inbox. This feature supports with Facebook’s mobile interfaces. Though mobile users are not able to add new people, but they can be added to a group and get the message from all other participants in conversation.
Facebook has taken prevention to avoid the privacy problem while a user adding others to a personal one-on-one chats. So that when you switching from one-on-one conversion to group chat, make sure that you don’t bring your chat history. Adding peoples to chat in your clean slate, by this way they would know they are not talking one-on-one.
Most of the peoples have been using pre-made group chat feature. But with this Ad Hoc Group Chat feature, we can add people to chat in the Facebook even those weren’t already member in their group.
